You are invited to join Leah DeLuzio of Her Sacred Circle. and Lauren Calloway of RW Business Solutions from September 21-24 2023, for a 4-day, 3-night river retreat in South Carolina.

You’ll have opportunities for yoga, meditation, kayaking, nature walks, journaling, sister circles, reiki, crafting, sound healing, soulful movement, ceremony, workshops, and plenty of free time to breathe, rest and meander at your own pace.

You can select from a variety of camping options from tent camping to glamping. Packages include your 3-day/2-night stay at River Island Adventure, 6 meals, unlimited kayaking, full use of the facilities at RIA’s 1-acre Outpost, and all circles, workshops, and sessions led by Leah and Lauren.

River Island Adventure is a one-of-a-kind destination where guests can escape, explore, relax, discover & unwind in a truly natural setting.

RIA’s 1-Acre Outpost Amenities:

Large communal fire pit, hammocks & swings, slackline, giant yard games (Jenga, Connect 4, corn hole, dominos, bimini ring toss, tether ball, and tic tac toe), propane grill, picnic tables, indoor restroom, outdoor propane heated shower, boat ramp, and free WiFi access.

Our policies are:⁣⁣ Pay In Full Option: ⁣⁣ Our retreat policy is that guests must cancel more than 45 days in advance of the retreat start date for a full refund. There are nice indoor restrooms and full showers on-site! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐈𝐟 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐦 𝐈 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭? ⁣⁣ Yes, you will need to bring your own tent or hammock if you register for a wooded tent campsite. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐲 𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭? ⁣⁣ You will be able to drive to your campsite to unload on Thursday and pack up on Sunday. If you’d like to camp directly next to your car, please register for the RV/Car Camping pass. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐕 𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 + 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫? ⁣⁣ These are unplugged sites. No power or water. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐧-𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞? ⁣⁣ Plan to be completely unplugged. However, in past years, RIA staff has been generous enough to let some charging of cell phones take place. Do not count on this though! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐤? ⁣⁣ We will provide a packing list to help ensure you prepare + camp in comfort! ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐈 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐞𝐭? ⁣⁣ RIA does not allow pets on-site. What Should I Pack?

• Tent (if applicable), sleeping bag, and any camping gear you need for a fun and comfortable campout experience.
• Comfortable clothes for yoga, meditation, and movement.
• Swimsuit if you plan to partake in river activities. Water Shoes for the river (optional).
• Closed-toed shoes for nature walks.
• Sunscreen.
• Bug spray
• Layers in case the nights are cooler. Not likely in SC but better safe than sorry!
• Rain gear for any unpredictable weather.
• Journal and pen(s) for the journaling sessions.
• Yoga Mat or blanket for yoga sessions.
• Personal crystals or altar items (optional).
• Drums, shakers, hoops, fans - anything that brings out your wild woman wanting to play!
• Bring any personal drinks/snacks for the weekend. We will provide Friday’s dinner, Saturday’s breakfast/lunch/dinner, and Sunday’s breakfast/lunch. Note: This is an alcohol-free campout.
• Water bottle.

Will I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. For everyone’s safety, we will ask that you provide a signed waiver, which we will send to you upon securing your spot. The waiver will be sent in your Welcome email (sent within 48 hours of registration).

What happens if it rains?

This event is planned for rain or shine. However, if severe weather results in a need to reschedule the event, you will receive a credit to be applied towards the rescheduled retreat.
